It’s almost time to celebrate dad, but what is he’s hoping for this Father’s Day? New data from YouGov is making sure dad gets what he wants this year – and 32% of them don’t want anything at all!
They asked 500 dads across the country how they want to spend Father’s Day and what they’d like to receive on their special day and found:
- Three fifths of dads (58%) want to spend some time with their kids, followed by 42% who want to enjoy a meal at home, and 30% who would rather go out to eat.
- A quarter of American dads (24%) say they just want to control of the remote control, 19% want to spend some time alone, and 15% say they’d rather not do anything.
- A third of dads (32%) say they don’t want to get any gifts, 11% would like to be gifted alcohol, and 9% say they want tools or sports equipment.
