Alex Yarde has a review of fan jackets.com Batman v Superman Jacket!
Ok this is THE Batman v Superman Jacket, made exclusively by fanjackets.com. It’s getting some serious buzz on social media clearly because of the impending release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and I was sent one for a fair review.
I had a little fun with the unboxing and cut a trailer you can check out on my You Tube Channel.
The first thing I noticed was how substantial the jacket felt. It’s not cheap promotional Con swag. It’s built to last. It’s got a very modern, sleak design like an MC Jacket, padded shoulders, stand up collar, nice tight front zip wind proof closure and its made from PU Leather which is water resistant and has a nice weight to it. The texture feels soft yet durable.
The lined designs on the shoulder and the now familiar Batman v Superman logo stand out boldly in Black & Rich Burgandy raised and prominent on the chest. It kind of reminded me of a mix of the “New 52” redesigned Superman costume and The Red Hood’s jacket. It’s available only in black.
This is a really impressively constructed jacket, the stiticing was tight and uniform, I didn’t notice a single loose thread and the zipped webbing cuffs and the PU Leather shell & Viscose lining make it suitable for moderately cold weather. I wore mine this morning at a balmy 34 degrees and I was warm enough, plus indoors it was still breathable and comfortable to wear. It’s got two large trimmed interior pockets and one smaller pocket suitable for a wallet or smartphone. It also comes with a sweet little keychain in silver/red or black/red.
My only caveat is that since I’m a big guy and it’s an athletic cut, though the sleeves and jacket were a great length, the upper arms are a bit taperd, like modern MC jackets, so it felt a bit tight on my broad shoulders and biceps but not uncomfortably so. Big & Tall guys like me might want to order a size up. (And no Ed you can’t have mine) It comes in Men’s & Ladies standard sizes from xsmall to 3X currenlty. If it doesn’t fit to your liking, simply return it to fanjackets.com for exchange or refund but DONT remove any tags or it voids your return.
The Batman v Superman Jacket is avaliable now at fanjackets.com and retails at $149.00 with free world wide shipping. Here’s the link –
Overall, this is a very cool, unique piece of fan memorabilia that any comic book geek can proudly wear or display.
