Breath of the Wild goes back to this games early roots, which is a good thing
I have been a fan of the Legend of Zelda games since I was a little kid. This is a series that continues to find ways to expand its mythos and keep it interesting for fans of all ages. I attended a Nintendo Switch preview event Friday night where I was able to play Breath of the Wild. Here are my thoughts on this game after playing a 20 minute demo.
You can read the plot for Breath of the Wild here:
Step into a world of discovery, exploration, and adventure in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, a boundary-breaking new game in the acclaimed series. Travel across vast fields, through forests, and to mountain peaks as you discover what has become of the kingdom of Hyrule In this stunning Open-Air Adventure. Now on Nintendo Switch, your journey is freer and more open than ever. Take your system anywhere, and adventure as Link any way you like.
I cannot wait to play Breath of the Wild in its entirety. I was able to climb the walls of a giant church, collect items early, and even explore frozen landscapes. When you fight enemies you can pick up their shields and weapons and use them against them, which is so much fun to do.
You can collect apples, peppers, kill animals and steal meat enemies were cooking for yourself. You can eat them right away for a quick health boost, or cook them under a fire and make a meal that will give you more health and some added benefits. I am so impressed with this game, yet like E3 last year the demo is over before you know it. If you want to learn more about Breath of the Wild click on this website.
