The first Despicable Me 3 trailer reveals Balthazar Bratt in all his retro glory
I have really enjoyed all of the Despicable Me movies. The premise of each one is brilliant, the animation is always top notch and the characters are wonderful. I even really liked the Minions movie, something I was sure was going to be atrocious. The films have all made a ton of money and kids adore the little minions. It should come as no surprise that Despicable Me 3 is being made. The first trailer has been released online and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for Despicable Me 3 here:
Gru (Steve Carell) faces off against Balthazar Bratt (Trey Parker), a former child star who grows up to become obsessed with the character he played in the ’80s; and gets into some sibling rivalry when he meets his long lost twin brother, Dru.
This trailer has gotten me excited about Despicable Me 3. It has great music, a stellar cast and plenty of zany antics. At the end we even get a good scene involving two of the minions that will make fans of all ages laugh. There is still is much unknown about this sequel, but this trailer is a good start. I hope to get to see more on this new villain and this long lost brother Dru in the next trailer.
