‘Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle’ A very well written sequel
I really liked Jumanji. When it came out, not everyone felt this way. It was different, and took people on an impressive journey. When I heard they were making Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle, I was hesitant to see it. I knew it was either going to be great, or really awful. I was able to see this film early and here is what I thought of it.

You can read the plot for Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle here:
Four high school kids discover an old video game console and are drawn into the game’s jungle setting, literally becoming the adult avatars they chose. What they discover is that you don’t just play Jumanji – you must survive it. To beat the game and return to the real world, they’ll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, discover what Alan Parrish left 20 years ago, and change the way they think about themselves – or they’ll be stuck in the game forever.

Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle gets 8.5/10. I really enjoyed this movie. It took this series in a new, modern direction and it worked perfectly. I laughed a lot more than I thought I would, and the story it told was really good. There were plenty of video game jokes in this film, and as a gamer myself I loved each one. There was also plenty of action, and a few surprises along the way. If you liked the original, then chances are you will want to see this movie.
