These Spy Toys return in ‘Out of Control’
I have read some pretty good children’s books lately. Yet I can’t say I have read something like Spy Toys before. When I heard of the newest book ‘Out of Control’ it sounded rather interesting to me. I was able to get a digital copy of this book and this is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for Spy Toys: Out of Control here:
Fresh from the success of their first mission, our heroes the Spy Toys – Dan the Snugaliffic Cuddlestar Bear, Arabella the Loadsasmiles Sunshine Doll and Flax the custom-made police robot rabbit – are ready for their next task. This time, the secret code that controls every Snaztacular Ultrafun toy has been stolen and all over the world toys are revolting and turning against the children who own them.
Can Arabella disguise herself as a super-sweet little doll in order to spy on the daughter of Snaztacular’s top scientist? Can Dan and Flax chase down Jade the Jigsaw, the puzzling prime suspect for the robbery? And can they save the day before the mind-controlled toys forget what it means to play nice?
I had a wonderful time reading Spy Toys: Out of Control. It was different from most books I have read recently. It had unique likable characters and a mysterious villain behind the whole thing. The mission these toys took on was a tough one. Failure wasn’t an option but to succeed they had to take some big risks. If you are in the mood to read something different than this is a book you might want to check out.
Spy Toys: Out of Control comes out February 12th. You can pre-order this book on Amazon and at Barnes and Noble.
