Sing is a film that the whole family will want to see together this holiday season
Music is an important thing in many different cultures. Songs can tell a story, evoke an emotion or even raise someones mood. Sing is a movie that is bursting at the seams with music from all kinds of different eras. I was able to see this movie early and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for Sing here:
Dapper Koala Buster Moon presides over a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times. An eternal optimist, and a bit of a scoundrel, he loves his theater above all and will do anything to preserve it. Facing the crumbling of his life’s ambition, he takes one final chance to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world’s greatest singing competition. Five contestants emerge: a mouse, a timid elephant, a pig, a gorilla and a punk-rock porcupine.
I really enjoyed watching Sing. It is a film that relies heavily on the musical performances. Thankfully they are all absolutely wonderful. Each performance is better than the one before it. The story is tells is full of heart and soul, with each character having a reason for wanting to become a star. If you want to learn more about Sing click on this website.
Sing gets 9/10. I loved every song in this movie. The characters each have problems and difficulties yet they refuse to let them get in the way of following their dreams. There are some scenes that have the perfect blend of stellar animation and astounding visuals that pushes this film above the rest. There is something for everybody to like and kids will love this movie.
Sing comes out this Wednesday. You can follow Sing on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
