The weird comedy ‘The Spy Who Dumped Me’ is headed to Blu-Ray
I enjoy watching a good comedy. These days they aren’t that easy to find. Many of them try to hard to get laughs, and this makes them hard to watch. I liked Mila Kunis in Ted, and thought Kate McKinnon was good in the new Ghostbusters. So I was looking forward to seeing The Spy Who Dumped Me. I was able to get a review copy and here is what I thought of this movie.
You can read the plot for The Spy Who Dumped Me here:
Audrey (Mila Kunis) and Morgan (Kate McKinnon), two thirty-year-old best friends in Los Angeles, are thrust unexpectedly into an international conspiracy when Audrey’s ex-boyfriend shows up at their apartment with a team of deadly assassins on his trail. Surprising even themselves, the duo jump into action, on the run throughout Europe from assassins and a suspicious but- charming British agent, as they hatch a plan to save the world.
I really didn’t like The Spy Who Dumped Me. The film starts off weak, and dragged on in many parts. The jokes weren’t funny at all, and fell flat far too often. The story was uninteresting and rather predictable too. This movie was also too long, there were some scenes that should have been left on the cutting room floor. I can see some people liking this movie, but I would recommend steering clear of it. If you want to learn more about The Spy Who Dumped Me click on this website.
