A woman finds herself in a weird place in ‘Sparrowhawk’
I have been lucky to read a good amount of graphic novels lately. It isn’t always clear on what kind of journey they will take me on, but it is rarely a boring one. When I heard of Sparrowhawk I thought it sounded interesting. I was able to get a digital copy of this graphic novel and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for Sparrowhawk here:
As the illegitimate daughter of a Naval Captain, Artemisia has never fit in with her father’s family, nor the high class world to which they belong. However, when she is targeted by the Faerie Queen and pulled into another realm, she has no choice but to fight her way back home, amongst evil fairies who want her head, and untrustworthy allies that claim solidarity but have ulterior motives.
Sparrowhawk was a pretty interesting read. I will admit it started off a bit slow, but really got exciting once Atemisia got pulled into the other realm. Making an acquaintance of an odd looking creature gave her a purpose and hopefully a way back home. She will embark on a journey that will change her in many ways, and comes with plenty of risks. If you are looking for something different then this is a graphic novel you will want to check out.
Sparrowhawk is available now. You can order this graphic novel on Amazon and at Barnes and Noble.
