Dan Gutstein's books are non/fiction (prose, Edge Books, 2010) and Bloodcoal & Honey (poetry, Washington Writers Publishing House, forthcoming 2011). His writing has appeared in more than 65 publications, including Ploughshares, The Iowa Review, American Scholar, Fiction, and Best American Poetry. He works at Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, teaches at George Washington University, and was named the 2010-2011 "hottest" professor in America by the web site Rate My Professors.
