If you want solutions, there are many options out there. Although, setting goals precedes productivity.
Once you have set goals, you can use some free or paid applications to assist you.
Free applications may offer their entire app for free or at least they’ll offer a free option within the application. Paid applications is exactly as stated. You’ll have to pay an one-time price or a recurring amount for the application.
Consider these three free tools to optimize time and double your productivity…
Web-Based App
Do you invest too much or too little time for tasks? If so, you’re not alone. At times, I’m guilty of it too. If your goal is to dedicate 25 minutes to social media or something else, then you need a time-tracking tool to keep you on schedule.
For example, there’s a tool called The Marinara Timer. It’s a free web-based app that doesn’t require you to sign up for an account. It has three modes, including a Pomodoro mode. Furthermore, the app has sharable time links that give you a unique link for each timer.
If you’re an entrepreneur that prefers screen sharing in the workplace, you can administer the workflow by starting and stopping the timer for your employees.
Desktop-Based App
What if you’re on the road and stuck in areas with spotty WiFi or no WiFi at all? If you’re on the road a lot without WiFi, you should strongly consider having a desktop-based tool.
TimeTo is a desktop-based app that is one of the most advanced to-do list managers. You can download it for free on Windows or Linux. It can be synced with Microsoft Outlook, Google Calendar, Androids, and iPhones.
Additionally, one of its most interesting components is its automation capabilities. This desktop-based app warns you weeks ahead if your commitments are in conflict and splits large tasks into workable chunks.
