Ah memories, your story brought back memories to my first ‘Encounter’ with the opposite sex. I was 12 and the oldest child in my family, when a girl I had grown quite fond of (somewhat of a new revelation in itself) got together with me alone one day (she was older, about 13 or so) She got all ‘hot and bothered’ as did I (although, I didn’t quite know what the hell was happening to me). Anyway , next thing I knew, her dress was up over her waist and her panties were down by her knees, and I recoiled in HORROR! I mean, SHE WAS ALL HAIRY DOWN THERE! As I hadn’t ‘sprouted’ any myself, nor seen anything like that (this was 1966) I remember thinking of the ‘Bearded Lady’ in the circus! She saw my hesitation and got quite annoyed. I remember her saying something to the effect “What, are you a homo or something?” I can honestly say I didn’t have a clue. It sounds funny now I know, but at the time I was terrified! I grabbed my shirt (which I had taken off) and RAN! I can honestly say I was absolutely scared of females until I was about 16 or so and hormones took over and squashed my fears.

Your story reminds me so much about the stories that surround the sexual abuse of males by older females (Not saying yours was sexual abuse) where people assume that the boys suffer no ill effects, your ill effects of a traumatic event seems to have only lasted a short time. But I can’t help but wonder what your ill effects would have been like if this female was much older , i.e. 40ish. ‘Funny’ part is , when you didn’t immediately jump her bones, she called you a homo, that is how most view men who don’t screw a woman… Read more »
As I said , this was around 1966 or so. Gender dynamics and expectations were different (think more like the TV show ‘Mad Men’). Also, you must remember that for boys at least, sex education consisted of finding your Fathers hidden copies of Playboys ( which back then, only showed breasts, no genetalia). Growing up, I can honestly say when it came to sex, us males for the most part, we’re clueless until probably after we graduated high school. Of course, by then the ‘Sexual Revolution’ was in full swing so that helped get some info to us at least.… Read more »
Maybe ‘Absolutely scared of Females!” is a bit strong. Let’s say I was leary of them, since #1) I didn’t understand them at all and #2) I didn’t understand the way they made me feel (in fact our name for that odd sensation they brought on ‘in our loins’ we called a ‘feely’) and #3) I NEVER wanted to feel that helpless , confused and scared again!
