The herbs have been our companions for millennia.
This natural pharmacopeia has healed and comforted us since before the dawn of our sapience.
This is a natural inheritance and one that has become monetised and lost to the everyday.
How much more fulfilling then to grow and prepare our own herbals, to craft and create and to connect on a deeper level with this natural medicine.
Here drying in the early summer sun are sage and melissa bundles.
The leaves and stems were gathered from my garden and will be a sensuous reminder of this time when they are burnt in the autumn.
