This three-minute exercise is ideal when transitioning in the dating/relationship world.
Clear your mind and set an intention for how you want to show up. Let go of past worries and fears and focus on how you want to feel and how you want to make the other person feel.
Here’s how it works:
- Close your eyes for 1-3 minutes.
- Repeat the mantra, “release”.
- Before opening your eyes, set an intention for what you want the next activity to feel like and be like

- Before going on a date or to an event.
Try it, you will be amazed at how relaxed and happy you feel when you set an intention not only for yourself but for the other person too.
People often say, “how can you like dating, it is so hard and usually so disappointing!”. I like to think about giving as much as getting when I date. I like to consider how I can make the person across from me feel relaxed. An intention before I walk into a date might be, “ I want to feel relaxed, be a good listener, flirt, and have fun, and I want my date to feel comfortable and enjoy himself too.”
