I was afraid to look inward. I was afraid of what I’d find. I was afraid I wasn’t the person I thought I was. And you know what I found? I wasn’t the person I thought I was. I was so much more. This only happened because I allowed just a little love in and when it seeped in it illuminated a bigger problem. I didn’t know what to do with it. I didn’t know how to treat it. How to accept it. The solution? I had to learn how to give it to myself and accept it from myself.
