‘Kraven the Hunter’ is out now on Digital
The Sony Pictures Marvel films have been hit or miss. Morbius was terrible and was painful to watch from start to finish. Although I didn’t hate Madame Web, I can’t say it was an amazing movie either. When I heard Kraven the Hunter was being made, I had mixed feelings about it. Now this film is available on Digital and here is my thoughts on it.
You can read the plot for Kraven the Hunter here:
Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays Kraven, a man whose complex relationship with his ruthless father, Nikolai Kravinoff (Russell Crowe), starts him down a path of vengeance with brutal consequences, motivating him to become not only the greatest hunter in the world, but also one of its most feared.
It was nice to watch this movie again. The action is over the top and the story is a bit predictable at times, but was still fun to watch unfold. The beginning is strong, but the film loses some momentum as it moves forward. Once this movie came to a close, we found out someone had taken on a new identity. ‘Becoming Kraven’ looked at the process Aaron took to prepare for this role and how much they enjoyed bringing them to life in this film. ‘Beast Mode: The Stunt of the Hunt’ showed how many of the action scenes were put together and a few of the challenges the crew faced. There was also a pretty funny Outtakes and Bloopers Reel.
Kraven the Hunter is out now on Digital and comes out on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray and DVD March 4th.
