Reality……….our hardest task is this
Simply being alive means engaging our full being with the full being of life. Each moment is this experiment of touching life and getting immediate responses, all day long.
No matter how we avoid, scramble, attack or flee, life continues to surround and influence every thought, feeling, action. This experience we call “I” will not accomplish escape. Our only choice is how we link.
Life’s limitlessly generous nature becomes whatever we choose. While you may choose reading, your partner may choose hiking. You choose salad, I choose ice cream. Imagining the entire planet crawling with choice making beings, we are offered an awe inspired understanding of how constantly and quickly life adapts, grows, dies, births.
Being happy and healthy is hard work. Practicing what we know works for us and accepting others’ choices for themselves is core to learning to allow room for this, and belief that life continues in this way.
From the Tao, the highest form of goodness makes room for all things. Christianity as you believe your receive. From Judaism life is one and unique without differentiation. From Islam there is no separation from the one power.
Life doesn’t get any better than it is, now and always. You, however, are here learning to believe that and accept the best you understand to do, think and feel now, always now, this.
