I often find it puzzling when people suddenly leave. It feels like a story that ends too quickly, leaving us with lots of questions and a feeling of curiosity. It happens so unexpectedly sometimes that you’re left unable to comprehend what has transpired. These surprising goodbyes remind us that life can be unpredictable, we never know when it might be the last time we speak with someone.
However, after encountering many such situations, I’ve come to realize something profound: not everyone is destined to stay with us forever. It’s almost like a soul contract; some individuals come into our lives to teach us valuable lessons or guide us toward a better path. As we continue to move forward and become our best selves, we naturally leave behind those who no longer resonate with our newer version, and I believe that’s okay.
We can’t keep carrying that baggage perpetually. It’s okay to let go of the things and people who have served their purpose. However, it is also painful to see people who once meant so much to you no longer in touch with you. But I believe that those who truly understand you, even in moments of silence, will remain by your side forever. These are the ones who truly belong. The universe has a way of removing people from your life who no longer align with your journey.
Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with heart and soul, there is no such thing as separation.” — Rumi
Looking back now, I realize I’ve lost many friends and individuals I once thought would be in my life forever. However, in hindsight, I’ve come to understand that “forever” ends sooner than we expect and isn’t the same for everyone; it lasts only until the purpose is fulfilled. I used to ponder deeply when things went awry, leading to goodbyes and moments where I stopped talking to people even without any apparent reason.
Now, I understand that each person has played their part, and even if we’ve moved on, a piece of them always resides in my heart. Whether it’s something they’ve taught me, how they’ve enriched my life, or the beautiful memories we’ve shared, everything has left a lasting impact. I’m immensely grateful for each one of them and thank them for being a part of my life and making it better. They’ll forever remain in my heart, in my thoughts, and in my memories.

Ending thoughts
Life is a journey filled with unexpected hellos and goodbyes. Each person we encounter serves a unique purpose, leaving their mark on our hearts and memories. Even as some depart, their influence lingers, enriching our lives. So, treasure the moments, welcome change, and hold dear those who remain constant in your life.
Life’s uncertainties may lead to unexpected goodbyes, but they also present opportunities for new beginnings. As you journey through life, keep your heart open, and remember, the universe has a way of guiding your path toward those who are meant to stay and grow with you.
With boundless love and unwavering positivity. ✨
