Sometimes Power Is Just Lack
Authentic power does not compete
There is never an Other
Other person
Other status
Other achievement
Other shiny image
There is only You
Lots of people find themselves powerful
Concluding they are Better Than
Better Than another person
Smarter Than another person
More Advantaged Than another person
But if they had any power over themselves
They would learn to look inward
Instead of magnifying the outward
They would learn their authentic self
Instead of idolizing the almighty appearance
Bully after bully
Insult after insult
Pain guided a soul to seek the answers
And after a few then all of life transformed
Appearances were just a shadow
Where authenticity had diminished
Intimidation that once looked so large
Suddenly looked frail and scared
Where there could have been beauty
Fear had extinguished the gifts of grace
The bullies only bully
Not because they are powerful
But because they Lack
Believing there is not enough to go around
Believing that you cannot win unless another loses
Believing that being a victim is your identity
Believing that a shattered boundary gives you the right to create more shatters
Beliefs like that will limit all the days of your life
Creating the lack you perceive yourself to be
Power is not large when it is over another
Power is most significant when it is over yourself
Power is not large when it is based on Fear
Enamored with lack through anxiety focused on scarcity
Power is most significant when it is based on Love
Grateful for abundance through peace focused on where we belong
It is not your business who thinks they are more powerful than you
It is your business to be powerful over yourself
Let others choose Fear’s charms as they please
Focus on your own creations based on Love.
