It is always somewhat exciting to get a letter in the mail. I’m not talking about a bill or junk mail but an actual longhand letter written by a human being. I received a letter last year before Thanksgiving, and I resisted opening it. It wasn’t because it was bad news, more the opposite in fact.
Who sent it? What am I afraid of?
