We may not consciously think about it, but we all get into relationships knowing they’ll end. We either break up or one person dies. Pain is guaranteed.
Yet, we still choose to pursue love. Because the highs outweigh the lows.
The end has come for you now, but that shouldn’t make the highs you experience any less beautiful.
Those emotions you experienced were real. You got to experience them. There’s no reason they should be tainted now.
It’s better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all.

2. “This Too Shall Pass”
It’s not just good things that come to an end. Every phase of life is temporary. Each moment is fleeting.
Many people use the mantra “this too shall pass” to remind themselves of this. It helps them appreciate the good moments while they last. It reminds them the bad times won’t last forever.
Indeed, that’s true of the emotional pain of losing a loved one. The wounds may feel unbearable and permanent now, but they’ll heal with time.
When you take steps to embrace the next phase of your life, that’ll speed up the healing process.

We take what comes easy for granted. We value what we had to work for.
