Recently I launched my first of four books. Writing has always been a passion of mine, but writing books have become a whole new ball game.
My first book, “Thought Leadership” is a collection of strategies and higher-level thinking that helps you improve your life and your overall wellness. The book is small, digestible and easy to pick up and read each day in being able to add tremendous value to your life for the price of a fair trade cup of coffee.
For anyone who has purchased the book, you will notice that there are no chapter numbers defining the order of each chapter.
This was purposeful.
To me, this book should not necessarily be read front to back. It should be read and rehearsed daily. Many books have an order to them as both the author and reader enjoy a methodical order. To me, this book doesn’t have that ordering system.
The process of having higher thinking is not orderly or the same for every person.
It has no beginning and no end.
It is just a constant flow of top-tier thinking which will allow you to live a top-tier life.
It is simple, valuable and purposeful in that it is written so that as you are reading it, you begin thinking differently about your life, your vocation, and your wellness.
Also found in my book are various ‘blank’ pages. These pages are also purposeful. To me, a book should be a gateway to spawning new ideas and thoughts. A great book should stimulate more thoughts from you. To excavate those thoughts into words, I left blank pages so that readers who are being cognitively stimulated by my book have a space to write those thoughts down before they are lost.
When you pick up my latest book you will notice the simplicity of it right away. In 2018, there is so much noise, information, confusion, and ‘fake’ news. I wanted to create a book for the world which is simple, practical yet sophisticated. As Steve Jobs once said, “Simplicity is the highest form of sophistication.”
I say all this to let you know that Thought Leadership is a tool to help you succeed in your life, relationships, and with the daily pursuit of your wellness.
If you have been reading this far, you probably want something greater and something more fulfilling than what you have now in one or more areas of your life.
If you want to change one or more of those areas in your life, why not allow your thoughts to help you do this? Allow the strategies and ideas found in Thought Leadership to help you do just that.
