When Christopher Knafelc saw the man standing in front of him on the platform in a Philadelphia train station fall to the tracks on Thursday, he immediately jumped down to help. He stabilized the man’s head and yelled to bystanders to stop any oncoming trains until help arrived. Knafelc, a recovering drug addict and ex-con believes he has plenty to regret. But after saving the life of a perfect stranger he said he is beginning to realize that he is still a “good person,” despite his “colorful past.”
