Out of all the things that people say about The Good Men Project – that we are thought-provoking, addictive, provocative, diverse, and even, occasionally not-so-good – everyone agrees on this one point. That no other media company is having the large-scale discussion we are having about men, manhood and masculinity.
In fact, we have pioneered the largest worldwide conversation about what it means to be a good man in the 21st century.
And for those of you who believe in this mission, we’re asking if you’d like to become a Premium Member of The Good Men Project.
In return, you’ll get benefits such as an ad-free viewing environment, invitations to live events, exclusive monthly video-chats, weekly conference calls, a commenting badge, and e-books. You can subscribe for just $20 a year – and you will also get a one time gift of the original printed anthology of The Good Men Project book that started it all. If you’d like to simply support our mission without all the bells and whistles, there is a $5 option.

And then … We need money !!
Now that you have catched us with quite interesting articles, you made us pay for it.
That’s not fair, the question of being a good man should stay for free so it could spread easily, that’s the most important point.
We absolutely are letting it remain free. Anyone can come read our articles for free, and the advertisements will pay for the cost of us staying in business. But for those who don’t want the distractions of the advertising, who want the book which has a value, and/or who want to get deeper into the conversation and more involved, there is an option to get more with a small payment.
So, how many times am I going to have to clear the “Become a Premium Member of The Good Men Project Ad-free experience, exclusive monthly chats, free book/dvd and more.” nag screen that now comes up every time I open a Good Men Project article? Is that ever going to go away if I choose not to become a premium member? Because if it’s not going to go away, not only am I not going to become a premium member, I’m going to stop reading altogether.
That should appear just once every 72 hours while we are making people aware of the program. It goes away completely — of course — once you become a member. If you are seeing it more than once every 72 hours, try clearing your browser cache and that should clear the pop up data also.
OK, thanks. Glad to hear it’s not a permanent thing.
