Whether you’re traveling for work or pleasure, one thing you’ll notice as you traverse the planet is that the price of everything fluctuates – sometimes quite a bit. We don’t just mean currency changes either. Once you’ve got your calculator (or cellphone since, let’s face it, who carries a calculator these days?) out and translated the prices you find in foreign countries, you’ll notice that there’s as much variety in the price tags as there is in the culture and history you can explore overseas. An average cup of coffee in Italy, for example, is less than $1, while it’ll cost you $5.70 in the UAE.
You don’t have to be spread betting forex to care about this sort of thing, either. Whether it’s things like a cinema ticket, cup of coffee or meal for two – or things like a liter of fuel, cars, and properties, it’s interesting to see how we measure up to other nations.
