Michael Kamber is a photojournalist who has covered wars throughout the world. He has been nominated for three Pulitzer Prizes, twice for photography and once for writing.
I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Tim (and Sebastian) in February. He was a godsend to journalism, to writers, to the world – anyone who takes the images burned into them and tells the rest of us what’s happening is one hell of a human being. It is a gift that writers like me know someone is out there who risks it all to tell a story. I appreciate Tim and his astounding body of work but most of all, the true nature of who he is/was. It is what makes him unforgettable.
