Nordstroms presented a simple depiction of a man coming home and giving his fiancé a kiss. Many erupted with vitriol in the comment section on You Tube.

Although I don’t shop at Nordstrom’s, I applaud them for making this video. Given the current,modern-day world in which we live, it is actually a small yet powerful step for this upscale retailer to take, with nearly no price to be paid. I’m not a marketing, advertising, nor merchandising professional, but one might easily conclude that many gay men shop at Nordstrom’s, and conversely, any potential shoppers who state they might “boycott” Nordstrom’s are probably not the market niche who shop there.
