I wish I had learned it earlier.
Before telling you the lesson.
Imagine…
You’re 93-year-old, and you’re in your deathbed.
Someone asks you:
“Did you achieve your goals?”
And you reply, “No”.
Again he asks you:
“Did you travel the world?”
And you reply, “No”.
Then he asks you:
“Did you enjoy your life the way you wanted to?”
Then again you reply, “No”.
Now, think for a minute and embrace it.
- Why didn’t you achieve any of it?
- Who would you blame for these?
If you’re honest, then you would say “me”.
So, the lesson is:
Whatever you do in your life or you don’t do?
You’re the reason.
I recently realized this…
If I’m not pursuing my passion as a writer, then I’m the reason for not doing it.
I’m the one procrastinating,
I’m the one scrolling and not writing,
I’m the one finding excuses to not do it.
At the end, when time passes, it’s me whom I would blame.
So, why not to do it?
Giving your 100% and see what happens.
Takeaway: Do it or regret it at your deathbed.
There are thousands of ways to solve your procrastinating, doomscrolling, binge-watching.
Learn and implement.
For You: What’s the biggest lesson you have learned so far?
