Evan’s dad is back in town for a bit on ‘Cherry Picker’
Last time on The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, Sofi was spreading herself thin. She hadn’t told her parents about wanting to switch to the Don’t Bothers, and no one on the team knew she was still going to Mighty Ducks practices. Evan did see she seemed tired all the time though. On her way to a Mighty Ducks practice, her secret ended up coming out. Meanwhile a contest was coming up, and Bombay wanted to help the Don’t Bother moms win it. Alex found herself in a stressful situation, but with Bombay’s help, it looked like she had a chance of winning. As this episode came to a close, Sofi’s dad made a big decision. Now Evan’s dad is back in town on ‘Cherry Picker’. I was able to watch a screener of this episode and here is what I thought of it.

Evan’s dad shows up for a surprise visit on ‘Cherry Picker’. Alex isn’t that excited to see him, but Evan sure is. When his dad invites him to a gig he has, Alex says no but Bombay agrees to take him to it and back. Meanwhile the team tries to prepare for its next game, where is looks like they could have a chance of winning. Bombay has a talk with Evan’s dad and prevents him from doing something pretty dumb. At the game things aren’t going well, but they take a turn for Evan once someone shows up to cheer him on. As this episode comes to a close an old teammate tells Evan someone would like to have a word with him.
