‘The White Princess’ a series full of drama and corruption
I have watched a lot of interesting shows lately. Yet none of them have been like The White Princess. It sounded like an interesting show, so I decided to give it a shot. It was not what I expected it to be. I was able to get a review copy and here is what I thought of it.

You can read the plot for The White Princess here:
This eight episode series sees England ostensibly united by the marriage of Elizabeth of York/Lizzie and King Henry VII, but their personal and political rift runs deep and the divide between them threatens to tear the kingdom apart once again. The White Princess is a tale of power, family, love, and betrayal, which charts one of the most tumultuous times in British history uniquely from the point of view of the women waging the ongoing battle for the English throne.

The White Princess was an alright show. It had its flaws though. The character development could have been stronger. I also didn’t like where years had passed, with no indication at all. This left me to figure it out as the show progressed. It would have been easier if they had just said ‘7 years later’ or something like that. The story was pretty good, and some of the characters brought a lot to this show. I don’t think it will be for everyone, but some people will definitely enjoy it.
