Dan is having a hard time in ‘Separation of Church and Dan’
Last time on The Conners, it was Halloween and the family went all out on their costumes. Darlene had to deal with Mark’s school saying he couldn’t wear either of his costumes at the school carnival, and she handled it as best as she could. Jackie brings a new fella to the event, and asks for Dan to get to know him. Things of course don’t go as expected. Now Dan is going through a tough time in ‘Separation of Church and Dan’. I was able to watch a screener of this episode and this is what I thought of it.
You can read the premise for ‘The Separation of Church and Dan’ here:
When Geena learns that D.J. hasn’t been taking Mary to church while she’s been away, she insists they go as a family to uphold her traditional values. To make matters worse, Mary refuses to attend without her cousins Harris and Mark, leaving D.J. in the last situation he wants to be in – at the mercy of Darlene. Meanwhile, Mark’s attempt to conduct an unbiased survey on the upcoming election for his school project goes south when Jackie volunteers to help.
‘The Separation of Church and Dan’ was a pretty good episode. The family realizes Dan is having a hard time, and they want to find someway to help him out. Yet this proves to be harder than they expected it to be. Meanwhile Geena takes most of the family to church and things go better than expected there. As this episode comes to a close, Dan gets a bit better and looks to be in a better mood. If you want to learn more about The Conners click on this website.
