About Rami Aizic
After graduating from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor's in English Literature and Criminology, Rami Aizic went on to Leeds University Law School. After years of practicing law, he became aware of the lack of professional satisfaction he was experiencing, and returned to graduate school to obtain his Master's in Psychology, as well as his Marriage and Family Therapy credential. He has lived in Israel, Toronto, England and Los Angeles, which he believes has offered him the opportunity to experience, first-hand, diverse cultures and differing attitudes to a myriad of life's issues. He brings all of this with him to the therapy room. He has spent many years working with children and adolescents, ranging from Special Education needs to Gifted, in various school programs which he developed, as well as in private practice. He has found a way to bond with them, leading to a rewarding outcome in their work together. He enjoys working with families in need of assistance in the dissolution of the original family structure and creating a new one. He volunteers his time now in giving back to the therapeutic community by offering lectures and continuing education workshops at a variety of non-profit agencies, assisting psychotherapy interns with the facets of the "business" they are pursuing. And, he enjoys time with his family.
