Source: 30dB.com – Obama and Economy and Credit vs Trump and Economy and Credit
Faced with a low approval rating low, an open investigation into his campaign, a best-seller that suggests he is unhinged and the blowup-du-jour over denigrating some other countries, it’s little wonder that President Donald Trump wants to take all the credit for anything good that happens in America. Just a few weeks ago, he tried to claim that the economy, which has been growing for the past few months, is his doing entirely. Of course, it’s a bit more complicated than that. Stock performance around the globe has been on the rise, reported The Washington Post back in December. And much of the recent upswing may actually have its roots in policies Barack Obama put in place. Social agrees with the Post, giving more credit for the economy to Obama, at 59 percent positive sentiments, than to Trump, at 51 percent positive. But many economists think that Trump deserves kudos, too. According to 68 practitioners of the dismal science polled by The Wall Street Journal, Trump’s election was a good thing in terms of job creation.
