Everyone needs love, including the military. As a military soldier, it can be challenging for them. Some women cannot endure the fact that their husband may not come home again.
Conversely, most men do not want to be alone either. Some soldiers want to have a wife, while others desire to take it further by starting a family.
Dave Chesson is no exception. He served with the U.S. Navy for 11 years. His desire to serve his country was somewhat inspired by being a military kid himself.
As a kid, he had a dream to become a nuclear engineer. Fortunately, he reached the finish line, but he was left unhappy and feeling unfulfilled. He did not like being away from home and family.
So, he figured that it would be in his best interest to embrace a side hustle. That side hustle was online marketing. During his time in the Navy, he spent many nights learning more about it. He started by creating niche websites and earning affiliate commissions. After dedicating years to learning search engine optimization, he had 27 websites in his portfolio.
Although, it was self-publishing on Amazon that increased his ability to leverage his SEO skills.
In this interview, I talk to Dave Chesson (also known as The Kindlepreneur) about his ability to balance his military service, family, and book business. We also talked about his decision to retire to dedicate more time to his family and book business.
