When a man is serious about you and sees a long-term future with you, he will introduce you to the people in his life. And if the opposite is true, then he might still have restraints about you.

I have seen this very closely. My male friends always want the friend group to meet the person they are dating if they are serious about her. I know this because I see what they do behind her back. As a friend, I get to observe and I can assure you that if your man wants you to be a part of his social circle, he is getting serious about you.

He acknowledges and apologizes

When a guy is not serious about you, they would not want to deal with the unpleasant part of the relationship: conflict and differences. But when a man is serious about you, he will sit with you, listen, and would not shy away from engaging in a deep conversation with you.

As Dennis De Silva says, “If he is willing to discuss his actions with you, humbles himself, and says sorry with reassuring words — then he is the man”.

Effort

A guy who is serious about you cares about your world. This involves everything from taking care of your likes, dislikes, and hobbies, and knowing the people in your life.

they would check up when you are sick,
they will make the effort to find a restaurant where the food you like can be found,
they will get you medicines and soup,

you get the idea!

They will remember your preferences. (will do a hopeless romantic act here, but here’s a shoutout to my bf!)

He will make time for you

When a guy is serious about you, he will prioritize you. He will find the time despite his schedule. He will make you a part of his daily life. He will not make excuses, but rather would go out of his way to see you.

Even if a 5-minute call (exceptions), he will find the time to talk to you every single day.

He trusts you

Trust is the foundation of any successful relationship. When a man is serious about you, he would not shy away from opening up to you.

In my opinion, this is one of the most important signs of his seriousness for you.

Guys have a relatively harder time in opening up and being vulnerable. So, if he is talking about his beliefs, values, sentiments, and what’s happening in his life with you, he trusts you and no guy would do that if they are not serious about you.
