No one can be happy by making others unhappy; no one can smile while causing tears in people; no one can be at peace by messing up the lives of people around them.
Life becomes lighter when we prefer to bloom, instead of wound!
Living is a daily exercise of calm, patience, and tolerance, since our days are composed of many difficulties and our relationships encounter various obstacles throughout the days. Although we are already tired of knowing, it will never be too much to remember that it is necessary to calm down, to appease the battles fought in our body and in our soul, if we wish to survive with more serenity and quality of life.
We also cannot forget that a large part of our calm and balance should always come from within us. The exterior, the people outside, the events around us, everything that is independent of our will, in short, will cause many disappointments, will bring broken expectations, will take back what we thought was ours, that is, sometimes we will fall by the tricks of what is beyond our control. We mess up our own lives a lot, but there are many people who end up messing us up too.
It is very common to say that happiness depends only on us, that we are the causes of our misfortunes, however, much of what comes to knock us down and contradict comes from other people, or even comes in a whirlwind of uncontrollable events of this improbable life. Even if we have an absurd purpose of being happy, our path will never be free of people and events that insist on pushing us down. And this exhausts, tires, darkens our soul.
For this reason, the best we can do is maintain a positive attitude, an ethical and supportive behavior, without falling into the temptation to follow the easier paths of dishonesty, corruption, moral degradation, disregard for others, of selfishness that passes over anyone. Because no one can be happy by making others unhappy; no one can smile while causing tears in people; no one can be at peace by messing up the lives of people around them.
We already have so many annoyances that we need to deal with daily, there are so many falls accumulated along our journey, so many disappointments, tears, and pain. What, then, would be the use of any malicious attitude on our part? What would we gain by becoming bitter, resentful, and seeds of pain to be spread around? Let us be the balance in the midst of storms, the light that overcomes darkness, the love that comforts and welcomes. The good that we spread, after all, will also be reflected in our lives and in the lives of those who walk with us and it is in this way that we will not linger in the cold nights that will come.
