Have you heard the call? Have you answered the call? Is there more you can do?
This morning I woke thinking about this soul-stirring video by Chaim Dunbar, Where Are The Men?
Where Are The Men? is a video poem written and performed by Chaim Dunbar. It is an invitation for all men of to come forth and let themselves and their good works be known. Chaim challenges masculinity to be more than the stereotypical clichés of brawn, bluster and egocentricity and instead implores males to be the best of themselves—to find strength in their vulnerabilities, value in their tenderness and unity among each other.

This video was released before #MeToo and #TimesUp. Before President Trump and March For Our Lives.
Where Are The Men? went viral in the summer of 2016. I got to speak with Chaim on Real Men Feel that August. It was just before the video started blowing up in a huge way and it felt like a great win for our fledgling show.
I’ve watched this video dozens of times. This morning I woke up thinking that the men are here. The men are writing and reading at GoodMenProject.com. The men are students in Parkland, Florida standing up and being heard. The men are everywhere supporting women raising their voices to end sexual harassment. The men are being vulnerable and authentic.
Every day, more and more men are willing to drop their masks. To stop pretending they’ve got it all figured out. And I couldn’t be happier.
