As the saying goes, even a broken clock is right twice a day.
We are in a moment of unprecedented division in our country. Beause the stakes are so high and the divide is so wide, it’s easy to fall into the trap of thinking you are right about everything and “they” are wrong about everything. However, if the clock theory applies, “they” have to be right sometimes.
Where can you agree with your politcal rivals?
Are there some things that are universal, at least in topic, if not in detail? For example, are human rights important?
If you don’t know if you can agree on anything, are you interested in finding out? How will you go about doing that?
How is the political climate affecting you? Are you concerned? Are you happy? Why?
What issues do you think we have to come to some agreement on and on what an we agree to disagree?

The Good Men Project is different from most media companies. We are a “participatory media company”—which means we don’t just have content you read and share and comment on but it means we have multiple ways you can actively be a part of the conversation. As you become a deeper part of the conversation (Which really is “The Conversation No One Else is Having), you will learn all of the ways we support our Writer’s Community—community FB groups, weekly conference calls, classes in writing, editing platform building and more.
