The alphabet.
Yeah. I know you know it already, but this is different!
This is alphabet training. It is not about learning the alphabet, but rather a form of associative training. It starts with an inventory list of the thoughts offered by your conscious mind. If done long enough, you will tap into the most interesting part – your unconscious knowledge.
We all have a vast amount of knowledge that we sometimes cannot access at will. So, this technique enables this access and makes it available to us on an ongoing basis.
There are no real rules to this exercise. Although, I suggest you use the alphabet or a group of words that contains some of the letters. The word can even have the double function of posing as the topic for your training. Either way, use each letter as a starting letter for a concept or word about this topic.
Next, pick words or concepts that inspired or interested you. Follow them up by writing down some ideas about them that immediately come to mind. You can then leave it and return later, or sit with it for a while to see if you can go a level deeper with it.
It is entirely up to you, whether you want to do this exercise with or without a timer. You may choose to play with this by giving yourself less time than before or more time. Just play with it and discover which works best for you.
I have created a video to illustrate it for you.
Repetition is necessary to see any significant improvement. Otherwise, your lack of repetition will return you to the same problem again.
I would be happy to hear your experiences with this technique.
