‘Freakier Friday’ Is out now on Digital
I can’t say I ever watched Freaky Friday. The movie was a smash hit and told a pretty interesting story. Once it came to a close, the lives of two people were never going to be the same. When a sequel was announced, I was unsure if it was going to be good or not. I was able to get a digital code for Freakier Friday and here is my thoughts on it.

This movie picks up years after Tess (Jamie Lee Curtis) and Anna (Lindsay Lohan) endured an identity crisis. Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice.

I can’t say I liked this film much. The whole thing felt kind of unnecessary to me, and many of the jokes fell flat. A few of the characters were downright unlikable, and for most of the movie the plot was predictable and just not that exciting. It gets a bit better around the last thirty minutes, but by then I was glad this story was coming to a close. Some people might like this one, but I wouldn’t recommend it. ‘Making things Freakier’ took a behind the scenes look at how this film was made and how much fun the cast had working on it. ‘Where Were You When’ took a look back at the first movie and had some of the new cast talking about what they thought of it. There are also some deleted scenes.
