Weird things start happening in ‘Empathalogical Fallacies’
Last time on Star Trek: Lower Decks, we saw Tendi get an invite to a wedding back home. Mariner and T’Lyn join her on Orion, and learn some interesting things about her family. Meanwhile Rutherford and Boimler have their first argument as roommates, and find a clever way to work things out. It seems someone has kidnapped Tendi’s sister, so Mariner and T’Lyn try to help her find them. Along the way they get to see many different parts of this planet and learn much about the culture. Once they find Tendi’s sister, a shocking secret gets told. As this episode comes to a close, we see Boimler jealous of the great time these women had together. Now the crew starts acting strange in ‘Empathalogical Fallacies’. I was able to watch this episode and here is what I thought of it.

We see T’Lyn getting ready to send a message out at the start of this episode. Next we see Mariner inviting her to have some fun, but T’Lyn isn’t in the mood. When she realizes her message isn’t sending out, she goes to inquire about why that is happening. There are three Betazoid women on the ship, and for some reason the crew start acting strangely. Captain Freeman thinks the Betazoid women are behind it, and tries to confine them to their quarters. Meanwhile Mariner finds out who is really behind it all, and finds a way to calm them down. As this episode comes to a close, things on the Cerritos return to normal.
