The mallow sits in its Buddha nature.
Open and endlessly giving.
It’s temporary beauty brings joy to these sapient eyes.
As ever, keen as a razor in its temporality.
Beneath, tightly furled, lies tomorrows flower.
Each in their own time, opening, shining, then fading to memory.
