These are the hard times, yet many of the females are heavily pregnant adding to the heavy burden of early Autumn.

The foals will be born to coincide with the arrival of autumnal rains, thus providing the mares with fresh grazing which in turn allows for the production of rich milk.
Over the far mountains one senses the Thunderbird rising from slumber and the mountain awaits its life sustaining bounty.
