Take it easy and pace yourselves in the relationship. Sometimes we’re in a hurry to find love so we sort of rush the process. Keep in mind, God created the heavens and the earth in six days. Now, ask yourself. Did He really have to do it that way? No. Of course not. He did it in order to teach us, the human being, that building anything great takes time. Relationships can be great.
However, we can’t rush the process by expecting too much too soon. Also, it does not serve us to have unrealistic expectations. I recently wrote an article about how some of us bring our romantic movies and songs ideas into relationships. They are not reality. The reality is, the more you’re with someone, the more you will have to learn, grow, and be patient with if you want to establish and build something special.
It’s not all laughs, romance, and great sex. Building something powerful and strong takes setting boundaries and respecting the boundaries of your partner. It takes asking hard questions and not always getting the answer you want. It takes distinguishing the things you can tolerate and be patient with about the other person. These are some of the ingredients to building a powerful and loving union with another person.
So, as the “Relationship Les Brown,” I advise couples and singles to practice patience in cultivating the type of relationship that is lasting and meaningful. It doesn’t just happen. It takes both people having the proper intentions towards one another and making the necessary sacrifices to weather all of the storms that will hit your union.

Louis Morris’s journey to coaching began when he was just 13 years old. With a listening ear and a wisdom beyond his years, people in the neighborhood came to him sharing their struggles and seeking his advice.
Being the only boy raised with 4 sisters and a very spiritual mother, his insights on relationships were informed by an appreciation for both the male and female perspective. At a young age he understood the importance of cultivating a harmony between the two sexes.
It is his belief that through faith in God, clear insight into the essence of issues, the matters of intimate relationships can be cured. It was in 2017 that Louis was first introduced to Life Coaching. It became clear that this profession gave him a chance to do what he’s always wanted to do.
Relationship Coaching enables him to put his natural gifts to use by helping people see relationship issues more clearly, mend from divorce and break ups, and get their groove back. He pursued his Certification for Professional Life Coaching, and received his Certification in 2018.
It is his mission, through his podcast, relationship books, and coaching programs, to help people address intimate matters of the heart and become the best version of themselves. Through belief in God, the proper introspection, and tailored action steps, the sky is the limit.
