“Having a baby is one of the most wonderful things in your life, as well as the hardest thing in your life.” — Nuno Bettencourt
…
My teen son and I were watching old home movies together a few years ago.
We chuckled as we watched a video of my now-teenage niece as a baby and remarked on how adorable she was.
At one point in the video, my baby niece began bawling at the top of her lungs when she did not like the baby food her mother was feeding her.
My son was taken aback and exclaimed in horror, “Babies are completely helpless and incapable of doing anything for themselves. Aren’t they?”
“Babies require years of adult care before they can survive on their own,” I replied, smiling.
The expression on my son’s face said it all. 😳
It was safe to assume that he would not be having children for a long time. 😂

I would like to highlight this hilarious piece by Vishnu*s Virtues in which he discusses what happens to readers when writers pin too many posts to their profile page.
