I have shared how running and movement help me to cope with my mental illness. However, today I wanted to share this TEDx talk from Jake Tyler. Jake writes about his journey at Black Dog Blog, where he shares his experience of learning to live with depression through movement practices like running and walking.
Over the summer, Jake was on a 3,000-mile lap of Great Britain raising money for the Mental Health Foundation!
It’s important to learn and share other’s stories because we all have our own style, technique, and tools to cope with mental illness. What works for one person may or may not work for another.
