While driving through Blood Mountain I discovered there lived a poet whose work moved me to the core. Hoping I do his work justice, I read a little bit of several poems by Byron Herbert “Hub” Reece as well as Del “Abe” Jones – men who wrote about mountains, history, and contributed to the richness of the culture of the area.
