From the Loft: Limited Series
During and after Hurricane Maria I kept a journal, each day I’d try to write in order to help me cope with the trauma and the severe changes that were happening to me. After compiling them together and making a book, I decided I was going to read the entries on the podcast to not delay the process of telling my story.
The first (or intro) episode to the entries I talk about the two documentaries already released on both Netflix and Vimeo – both powerful and poignant. However, one was deemed as non-representative of the Puerto Rican people and our will to survive, to rebuild and fight. I discuss what I took away from watching both these documentaries, give insight to my story and tell you what to expect in the upcoming episodes of the limited series.
