We created this video in May of 2013 and were shocked to see it go viral with about five million hits in one month. We wrote this video based on some of the experiences that actor Stella Choe had gone through growing up as a Korean American in Los Angeles. We had no idea that it would prove to be so relatable to so many people around the world.

After the success of What Kind of Asian Are You? and A few other videos about race, actress Stella Choe came up with the concept of Asian Stereotype Police. It’s similar to What Kind of Asian Are You? in that we get to see the actors react how they wish they could when confronted with these silly questions.
