Prepare for adventure in ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’
I am a pretty big Star Wars fan. I loved the original trilogy, and really liked The Force Awakens. The Last Jedi was not that great, but Rogue One was pretty good. When I heard of Solo I has hopes it would be good. When I heard it was coming to Blu-Ray, I thought it would be fun to watch it again. I was able to get a review copy and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for Solo here:
The action-packed journey explores Han’s first encounters with future friend and copilot Chewbacca and notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, as well as his adventure-filled past alongside fellow street thief Qi’ra and career criminal Beckett.
I enjoyed watching Solo again, but I did have a few issues with it. The film is a tad long, and the story drags on a few times. There is a lot of action, but some of it is so over the top that it comes off as silly instead of dramatic. The stand out star is Donald Glover as Lando, he is the perfect fit for this role and owns each scene he is in. There are plenty of really cool featurettes that delve deep into the making of this movie. There are also some pretty interesting deleted scenes. I doubt all fans will enjoy it, but some will have fun watching it. If you want to learn more about Solo click on this website.
